Luis Danys Morales (born September 24, 2002) is a Cuban professional baseball pitcher for the Athletics of Major League Baseball (MLB). He made his MLB debut in 2025. Career Morales was born in Cuba. He played for Gallos de Sancti Spíritus in Cuban National Series during the 2020–21 season, going 3–3 with a 5.95 ERA in 11 pitching appearances. While playing on the Cuba national team in the 2020 U-23 Baseball World Cup in Mexico City, Morales defected.
