William Buchanan Benson (born June 16, 1998) is an American professional baseball outfielder for the Cincinnati Reds of Major League Baseball (MLB). He has previously played in MLB for the Cleveland Guardians. Career Benson was drafted by the Cleveland Indians in the first round of the 2016 Major League Baseball draft out of The Westminster Schools in Atlanta, Georgia. He was committed to play college baseball for the Duke Blue Devils, but instead chose to sign with the Indians.
