Ryan Garcia retained his WBC welterweight title with a devastating second-round stoppage of Conor Benn at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. After a sharp opening round, Garcia dropped Benn with a powerful counter right hand in the second and immediately pressed the advantage, forcing the referee to stop the fight at 1:25 as Benn remained badly hurt.
